Digital Dentures - A World of Endless Possibilities Presented by Alexander Wünsche, CDT Sponsored by: Argen and Asiga
The digital denture product grew to one of the most important products in our industry. Why is that? Well, so many clinicians and technicians were trying to move away from removable restorations in general or didn’t even like to do them. Thoughts about non-profitability, complicated, remakes, etc. didn’t really give the removable market a nice shine. Digital dentures actually changed that picture and it is still evolving.
In this course, Alexander Wünsche will share different methods, materials and tips and tricks from his own world of the removable segment of the industry.
The program is segmented into 3 parts:
- Pre Webinar (10/28): Introduction of digital dentures, design, production (milling, printing), post processing
- Hands On (11/1): A full day of sharing tips and tricks of the digital denture world. Wünsche will review post processing and finishing of digital dentures, both milled and 3D printed. He will also share his characterization methods and tricks, how to repair and reline and how to keep the patient and client happy. Every attendee will finish a digital denture to take home as a showcase.
- Post Webinar (11/12): Trouble shooting, sharing experiences and future outlook. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to discuss the learned tasks after they have had the chance to adapt them in their regular workday. They will hear additional tips and correction advice to improve the new learned tasks.
Objectives:
- Learn how to differentiate the different materials available
- Understand the characterization of a digital denture to give it the natural look
- Learn how to utilize a variety of design software programs available
- Learn how to consult with their clients if milled or 3D printed is the ideal solution
